The Multivalent Battery Research Group operates within the Department of Advanced Energy Storage Technology at the Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Bioprocess Technology (Shandong Energy Institute), Chinese Academy of Sciences. To meet the increasing demand for the storage and utilization of renewable energy in large scale, our group focuses on advancing rechargeable magnesium and calcium batteries, by leveraging the abundance of alkaline-earth metal resources.
